Alongside the Queens Jubilee, there is a lot to get excited about this month! Some of my favourite artists are coming to London city and I can barely contain myself.

• Erykah Badu will be playing at the Hammersmith Apollo on June 27th as part of the London and Manchester blues festival. Alongside Badu will be performances by Georgs Benson, Hugh Laurie, The Brand New Heavies and Tom Jones. Link to tickets 
• Skilled pianist, vocalist and daughter of Donny Hathaway, Lala Hathaway is set to play at the Camden Jazz Cafe on June 17th/18th. Link to tickets
• Iconic vocalist Macy Grey will be debuting her brand new album ‘Covered’ at the Camden Jazz Cafe on June 27th. Link to tickets
• Other great reformers around and about in June include Jesse Boykins III, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Big Daddy Kane and Biz Markie, Fem Kuti, Roots Manuva, and Lefties Soul Connection.

In July we can look forward to Wireless Festival! I’ve got my tickets to see Drake and Nicki Minaj, plus there is will be Aloe Blacc will be performing at the Vintage Festival along with Sergio Mendes, Betty Wright, and Brian Jackson between the 13-15th July.
