Good morning lovelies, it’s not only Friday but it’s the beginning of London Fashion Week SS13! But before we talk #LFW shows, let’s talk shoes…
United Nude rocks my world! I have worn my suede EAMZ pumps for all they are worth, and I went mad for their ‘Fangs’ released this Spring/Summer which were a collaboration between United Nude and Dutch fashion designer Iris Van Harpen. United Nude is the love child of high fashion and industrial design and their products are simply about clear concepts, elegance and innovation.
This year United Nude ran five pop up boutiques, three of which were in London (Westfields shopping centre, Brompton Road, and Selfridges), one in Madrid and the other in Galeries Lafayette, Paris. For their Autumn Winter 2012 collection, we can see new versions of their iconic styles such as the Step Möbius, Eamz, Abstract, Cross, Pin and Fold and debuts exciting new designs such as the Delta, Blade, Tulip, Mosaic, Swan, Lane, Pointer, Dexter, Abbie, Tammy and Solid.
So without much further ado, here are my top choices from their AW12 collection. You can see the entire collection here
Abstract Lasso Hi
Lasso Hi and Mid are classic lace-up ankle booties on the avant-garde
wooden United Nude Abstract heel and will not go unnoticed even on
the dreariest of winter days.
Tammy Hi embodies United Nude’s true
winter spirit, maintaining United Nude’s flair for elegance while
emphasizing warmth and comfort. Lined with Faux fur and textured
soles for the coldest of wintery weather, each style boasts its own
fresh and chic quality that is also clearly of United Nude DNA.
The Tulip Hi shares the Blade’s tall wedge, but contrarily boasts an
extravagant and stunning upper of soft and quilted petal-like Nappa
patches around the foot. The Tulip Lo provides a more casual version
of this striking style, with a hidden wedge in quilted Micro fiber and
materials have been updated for a fresh and new look.
