My name is Louisa, I’m a writer, research executive and blogger. The afroblush blog is my online canvas of self-expression and thought documentation from my perspective as an ‘Afropean’ having been born in Uganda, and raised in London; my life is a colourful symphony of these two places.

I have background in journalism and branding, with a passionate interest in pan-African and European culture; which rather organically lead me to start a lifestyle journal to encourage a positive dialogue centered on celebrating the vibrant mix of cross-cultural fashion, style, beauty and visual arts, travel, innovation and community.

Post a commentI just wanted to register myself as a commited fan of this Blog. What I know about fashion and the like can be written on the famous postage stamp. What you are doing. Celebrating african women in europe and the zest of living in a multi-culltural country shown off so well during the Olympics. That’s something I’m proud of and care about.

Girl, I really must do posts on my hair journey for you. I see you have gone red haired. I did a similar colour, but it was a block dye. Anyway, what are the instructions on nominating you for the next cosmo comp? Are you a new blogger or a seasoned one? And what category? Fashion or lifestyle?
